Yeah it does look kinda amazing, if they pull off all that well then it should be awesome.

I actually never finished GTA 4 I got kinda bored and stopped playing. Not 100% sure why but It just didn't compel me to keep playing, but this looks win.

I remember when I thought Crazy Taxi was the pinnacle of a sizable virtual city.

A kid, sitting at his dreamcast, with his jaw on the floor.

Of course back then I couldn't even fathom interactive story lines, pedestrian hit-boxs, and Offspring not on repeat.

I went through sleeping dogs recently and really enjoyed they way HK was done, really felt like a solid and densely inhabited city. I never really got into any of the GTAs, they replicated american city planning too much, that is a planned city - unplanned cities are far more interesting for gameplay.

The trailer seemed to really try and hack on the crazy over the top elements that people are buying saints row for. Except the story in saints row 3 could be a pile of shit and still be better than gta 4.
Pretty sure they were aiming for a more grim serious storytelling in 5 but instead decided to say hey guise we're just as zaney, right?? guys?

I'm also not a fan of splitting the story into 3 protagonists. It cheapens it immensely, totally forgettable.

The one i never finished and regret was Red Dead Redemption. I wish they'd release that on PC, that was an awesome game.

Apparently the game world is bigger than Red Dead, San Andreas and GTA4 combined. Can't wait to pick it up.

Yeh it seems pretty logical to do HD remastered versions especially since PC/xbone/ps4 are now similar arch. Also wouldnt be suprised if thats the reason MS pulled halo3 from their free xbox live games that was meant to come july1, just so they can release a HD vers on xbone (and maybe win8.1 PC :P)

One of the things im most looking forward to with GTA V is that the combat looks a lot smoother, like Max Paynes - that combined with a world that looks so full of shit to do you'd think there's no way they could pull of THAT MANY ELEMENTS (aka bit off more than they could possibly chew), but with their track record leading up to this, how each game has become progressively bigger and more complete - this one could be pretty much the best one seen by far. And that's not hyping it up, that's just a result from a company whose proven they know what they're doing.

Again, i'd kill for Red Dead on PC, i really want to play through it to finish.

These guys, just like Naughty Dog, you can pretty much bet money on a super quality product.

Picked this up today from JB - so far so good - looks pretty damned good on PS3. Controls and gunfighting is really tight too - like Max Payne style. Anyone else got it?

I picked it up today for xbox from BigW for $78 which was the cheapest I could find. I've only played for around 30 mins so far but it seems pretty decent although I've noticed an FPS loss when driving through places with lots of buildings/cars/pedestrians etc
I'm looking forward to trying out the MP.
I noticed this article about not installing the 2nd disc earlier when I was installing: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013- ... -play-disc

On PS3 i havent noticed any fps loss at all which is surprising, and the graphics themselves are pretty damned good.

The game is clearly not censored either - it's lol. You pick up a hooker and can choose from a $50/75/100 service in the car. I've only gone the fiddy, but it's a blowjob, where you can clearly see her head bobbing up and down on your cock, while she's actually saying shit like, "Oh i love to suck your cock, I'm going to swallow all of your cum, I could suck your cock for days."

lol if kids are playing this.
