Yes I directed the sound designer and was very mindful of the movement back and forth between diagetic and non diagetic soundscape, eg:

during the tracking shot everything is very science fiction, but we cut somewhat jarringly to naturalism in the boardroom. And not coincidentally, [this] is when the concept fully clicks into place for a lot of people.

I think the sound design is a little too sparse though and thats one of the main reasons why the film feels so distant. I think the film could be improved a lot with another layer of sound design and a re-edit by a 'third party' editor rather than myself. but ain't nobody got time for that.

if anyone here is in London, its being screened on Thursday at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch as part of a sci fi film night. I will be in attendance
