Not sure how bigger maps will fare playing 7s or 8s though. Raindance can feel pretty empty with only 7

Larger maps with 12s might be aite

Give me a f*****g map making tool and I'll pump out several maps 10x better than the current half cooked abominations.

It's not the maps it's the lack of people isn't it?

Making a bunch more smaller maps would be like HireZ saying "noone is playing our game."

Which may be true... but it's a punch in the testies.

RD can be just a little big for most games

the big maps in TA lend themselves to brutal d stacks and both RD and temple are good examples

if ur going to have big maps u need very open stands but then u have 400+ cappers

thusly i think kata is about as big as u want to go

Flares (Unknown use or class)

Probably used to counter sabre missiles and EXR rockets, pretty useless.

Plasma Cannon

OP as expected, that thing will be devastating indoors and clearly already outclasses the HS if it stays as it is.

Spike Launcher

Don't know who gets this and in which slot, but it looks like it'll be great as an anti-capping tool if you can time it correctly and the projectile can't be destroyed.

Targeting Beacon

Awhhh yeah.

My first thought was that they will come in handy with a slow moving havoc of heavies (ala T2)

They'll need to upgrade the sabre to be more like the t2 rocket launcher. It's so slow and easily shot down at present flares would be pointless.

Can you imagine the missile launcher firing rockets that travel double the speed? You would have a hoard of doombringers on each server murdering everybody who hasn't unlocked flares. Do not sign me up to this game.

Haha, that actually puts into pretty clear perspective how much Hi-Rez have managed to bolluck this whole thing up for themselves.

10v10 would be awful.
8v8 or 7v7.

12v12+ etc may have suited t2 it does not suit this game.
