Adding two new players who haven't played T2 competetively before, but are keengrailer
**** what a gay lineup (good gay, not ghey gay)
hoping to add a few more who are not tribes vets
T2 was the best game ever. But its time has passed. The amount of enjoyment one gets from rekindling the fires of nostalgia reduces each time, until it comes but a fleeting moment of pleasure.
would be great if you could start one cbI could swap to a different team, seeing as that team now has 10 players... better to have more teams imo
for and 8v8 comp, would 11 players for a team be the ideal number to cover for absentees?
I guess to answer your question I might play but I'm not sure how reliable I will be (Similar to Xandrax, finding large timeslots free to sit down and play a game at a specific time are difficult these days - even living in an apartment as a single man whilst my fiancé lives in another state, she still manages to take large chunks out of my day).that's probably a list of all the players.
anyone else up for a few rounds? dp, sotha, xan, shakey, concept etc
p.s sotha u so gay, but i know what you mean
If we can't even get enough for a decent ctf match on one night of the week, what's the chances of getting teams and shit organised?
It does feel semi-retarded trying to play T2 again, especially now that I'm used to the Ascend ways... and playing with low numbers isn't much fun at all. I would rather play T:A with a half full+ server than T2 with 4 people. But when it's 8+ then I'd rather be playing T2 and last week really was heaps of fun when we got 8-10.
As ww said though, most of us have wives/kids/other commitments which makes dedicating times for gaming a lot tougher than days of yore. T2 was somehow resurrected after T:V... but that was a LONG time ago. For now I think we should be focusing on getting more numbers to T2 Tuesday. When you get larger numbers to that, you may entice former players to return... and if they start having fun playing 7v7 T2 ctf then things may grow. But even if it doesn't, I'd have no issues with continuing to set aside an hour or two for T2 ctf once a week.
