Keyboard and mouse will always be better for precision aiming but with some practice it's actually not that bad with a controller. I've been console bound for about a year now due to limited space and having the PC set up not being an option and in that time my controller aiming has gotten really good compared to when I was mostly on the PC. It's also much more comfy.Nah PC, cant handle FPS on PS4. Battlefront was ok as it was third person but still not ideal, couldnt imagine i'd ever get a proper BF on console.
Picked BF1 up on PS4 and it's pretty good. Some frame drops here and there but overall it's been really solid. I was a little hesitant knowing that EA/Dice would again be splitting the playerbase with bullshit premium but JB HIFI saved the day today with an obvious pricing error on the premium pass digital code going for $24.95 which I managed to snap up. Full package for $94 ($69 + $25) is good value.
got into your party earlier but kept getting server errors when i tried to join on your game.
the numerous fkn snipers i can handle but there are a couple of infuriating one-hit shotguns. even from medium range. found a nice 'elite weapon pickup' tho
Last night on Edge of the Empire when the heavy fog dropped in, i swear it muffled the sound, or altered in a way that sounded approprioate to the fog. Planes roaring overhead out of nowhere, more individual weapon sounds (as im certain the audible range decreased) - it just blows me away how technically sexy this game is. It's easily the best Battlefield to date IMO.
I instantly jizz in my pants if i even vaguely imagine a new BF1942/WW2 game made on these newer engines. Holy fucking giant wet throbbing horn the thought of Sherman / Panzer tank battles with this level of graphical semen.
using shadowplay. it's always recording the last 5 minutes to a temp folder and if something interesting happens i can save it. no fps hit at all ^_^are you recording the whole time? or just certain highlight points?
does your fps take much of a hit?
been meaning to ask, what system have you got? i'm using: amd fx-8150 (3.6 GHz), gtx1060 (6 GB), 8 GB ram
after convincing petty to get the pc version (over ps4) turns out his cpu is struggling with bf1 but last night was the first time in a few days where our rush team wasn't getting rolled. your regular 30:5 kd ratios may have been a factor.
rofl @ that grenade kill, i've got a dynamite montage coming along nicely heh. this was before i turned the ingame music off.
