Cool.

Witcher 2 was pretty decent.

But not that memorable either (fuck off the quicktime event boss fights)

Bloody hell...

Made all the better knowing it WILL be insanely good, as Witcher 2 was absolute quality. This looks simply insane!

Words cannot describe how much I want this game. It's going to be the next skyrim if not bigger especially because CDPR are amazing writers, the story for the witcher is so next level from elder scrolls imo.

I should install number 2, i got bored of number 1 after all the swamp business and moved onto another town with the ranga witch chicks house

should i stick it out to import my character into number 2 or just start from scratch?

Just go from scratch. yeah Witcher 1 I was just sorta ok with. Witcher 2 was one of the single best gaming experiences ive ever had.

How time can make things seem better than remembered. It was a good game though I enjoyed it.

Nah last time I played through W2 was only about 4 months ago. I have revisited it a dozen times, love it.

MOAR GAMEPLAY:
Nerd boner x1000, me and my brother acted like little kids at Christmas when we first saw the trailer. Also if you care about story, read the the series of books. You'll need to read a few fan translations online due to the slow ass published translations, because W3 will spoil it (due to certain characters making their entrance into the games).

Looking at that footage - one of the thing that strikes me is how good the characters look when talking - but they also looked bloody good in Witcher 2.

Saw the E3 conference footage, and one thing that bothered me is how small everything looked.

Aside from the huge vistas off in the distance, it looked like it was on the scale of that Lego Hobbit game. Really small trees, things that are supposed to be large hills are like 20m across, whole environment feels massively scaled down.

I guess it's probably a result of them going from relatively small closed in areas in the first two games to a true open world, or maybe it was just the area they showed on-stage had that look. Have to wait and see how it feels in the final game.

May be another graphics downgrade in the works.

Have to wait and see, but after DS2 and watch dogs I'm cautiously pessimistic.
