Tribes: Ascend Patch 1.4 - Parting Gifts

I haven't played this game in years (like most here I imagine) but I was curious why Steam decided to download a 3.7 GB patch for it.

I'm guessing it's been abandoned by the Devs given the patch name and chatter.
