[T1] Old training map.
Hey guys, I used to play t1 probably... 10 or so years ago and I have very fond memories of a particular training map that I can't seem to find anywhere on the net. I have spent years scouring tribes 1 map sites, planettribes, etc etc.
I don't remember the name of it (I think it was something like or YTTC_xxxx_xxxx.map, but I can't be sure, it was something similar, had some form of capital repeating letters....) - What I do remember is this:
- The map was the area used for Hillking and Broadside.
- You would ski around from point to point to activate each 'section'.
- Each point was marked by the 'flag room' structure from stonehenge.
- When you would fly into the structure it would activate that section, which would spawn a few bots (and they would run/ski/jet around etc) in different areas between your current point and the next 'activation point'
- You couldn't active the next point until you clear the section you were on
- When you cleared all areas and got to the last activation point it would give you a results page, eg total time cleared, number of kills, etc
That's all I can really remember. Basically it usually took about 10-15 minutes to clear the map entirely, and you would just ski around from section to section killing bots.

Pretty sure I know the one. Used to play it all the time when my net was down or whatever. The bot's would randomly 'pop' up in the air right? So you couls MA them and the flag stand that was the check point was from Stonehenge.
I can't recall the name but will check some of my old installs.

Yeah I was having a look at some of the photos of the old crew and also the pictures of myself. I seem to have aged like a fine wine... Not as chubby as I used to be and I think I lost a spare chin somewhere along the way. There are more pictures of myself on https://www.facebook.com/shamoz if you want to add those Nasty Hobbit...
