Current rules are simply 7v7, no orbital glitches/cheats obviously and that's it. Still under discussion and as always if enough interest is brought forward towards certain game-play elements we will adjust for that.
No official date has been stated yet, just seeing if anyone is interested first.
Aye Lenny cast for TA nostalgia. If you can't bring back DarkWolfe, Pricklyman or SystemI won't play but would be interested in broadcasting it on twitch. Would prefer if someone else casted it and I did the streaming, replays etc because I have not seen a comp match in years and would prob just more derp than I usual. If anyone is interested in that give me a yell.
An orbital glitch is where you you skii along a particular bugged surface to boost yourself extremely high into the air. If you don't know what it is, you shouldn't have to worry about breaking the rule. What is a orbital glitch ?
Asked this reddit but no reply, I am looking for a mic is any cheep one ok or should I be getting a better one any suggestions welcome.
https://pccasegear.com/products/2885 is a quite cheap mic and has good enough sound for communicating. Only real issue is that it's a clip on.
Push to talk for your privacy and other peoples enjoyment. Voice activity rarely is a good solution but better then continuous. I use my side mouse button to talk but some people use caps lock.Apologies for Questions but on mumble which is best option "Push to Talk - Voice activity - or Continuous" I can imagine that continuous would be easier
Uh huh!continuous is a crime against humanity. i'm not kidding.
A few years ago a T2 player came and played a pug with us, he left his mumble on and we heard his conversation to his lawyer... Not good lol.
Eventually someone muted him.
So yea PUSH TO TALK THNX! don't want to hear you moaning as you fap off
heh, just reminded me how hobbette left her mic open after our first tf2 match and listed everything that sucked about the entire clan. they listened for about 10 minutes before telling me. i was so proud
Time will be AEDT: http://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/aedt
Registration closed on the Friday of that weekend, 26th of February. You must be "checked-in" between 12pm and 1:30pm on the Saturday(27th) to get picked from the list of players. Picking starts at 2pm sharp. Initial stage begins at 3pm.
Semi and grand finals begin at 4pm onward on Sunday the 28th. The grand Final is marked to start at for 8pm that day.
Checking-in probably just means hopping in mumble and indicating you are here and able to play. Probably message an admin(Mcoot, BeanZ, Chatters) about it or sit in the channel with all the people.
Arx, Kata, Dangers Crossing, Bella Omega(NS), Sunstar, Terminus, Drydock and Crossfire.
Rules: 7v7. No cheating, TAMods is currently allowed but hasn't even been released for this version of the game yet. Server settings has nothing banned, no auto-gen repair. Some of this stuff is up for discussion, obviously if you want to propose a rule hop in a pug and ask to try it out.
For subs, the other team has to agree on if it's a worth while trade. If the trade is found to be obviously ludicrous (me for someone with 1 hour total in the game) then it wont be an acceptable trade.
