Game is fast and IMHO feels more like T1 than T2 (in terms of movement).
MP maps need some love, this is the biggest issue I have with the game. MP maps are just too damn small.

A few weapons are a little spammy and the fighterpod can suck my ass. Still a fun game though. SP is actually quite fun. I reckon all the hard work went into the SP maps as these shit all over the MP ones.

Sup Star its been a while ^_^

IMO TV is a joke if you call it tribes. Its ok-ish game but its completly solo style lacks anything to force teamwork, Sure you can have teamwork but its not needed at all.

cliff notes** if you like UT youll like TV but its not something that'll keep a 4 year fanbase like the past games.

I give it 5 / 10

yeah sad but true :(
I was hoping some of the community would of sticked around to help out w/ this game because if you look deep in the folds the game shows a bit of promise with the right scripts made the right maps and tribes would grow

Funnily enough, i think its the game implementation itself and not just the game that makes it non-team orientated.

I think with a few small additions, like beaconing the flag and a proper inbuilt flag status indicator(so all the non script using nubs can see it too), and removing things like those stupid deathmatchy capture points in the middle of the maps, along with some decent bigger maps, the game actually may become a lot more team friendly. The fact you can only see the flags on the minimaps, and if you're anything more than 20 metres away from the fucker carrying you wont notice he has it, sucks balls.
Soooooo need to change that.

When people bother to LD, the only teamwork i see is them chasing, never friendlies supporting a capper, as they have nfi where he is.

Community Modifications/scripts and maps will help give the game longevity. In its current form it'll last a while, but not as long as T1 or T2 did.

I still like it - but it's not as skillful as the previous games. I can hit targets with the morter SO much easier because my momentum isn't passed onto the projectile...

Probably rating it the worst of the 3 tribes games so far - but extra points for what seems like a good single player campaign (and hard IS hard!!), and it does have potential - T2 wasn't well loved initially by a lot of people either.

Star... who? :D

Awe-some

Imo TV is less about thinking and more about action, which is fine if you're not looking for the subtle mix of strategy that makes tribes.

T1 and T2 were much better multiplayer games, TV sucks in comparison imo. Fun if you want a fast spammy deathmatch game though.

Oh and the single player is the best part about it, good fun for a while.

PS. Hi2u Star ;)

its very unlikely that we are going to run back to T2, as there would be barely enough people willing to return, because some would stick with TV, and others couldnt be fucked coming back. All you can do now is embrace TV or play something else.

omg hi star, long time no ho busting.

I too have only played the demo of it. Should i buy a new computer i will definietly go and buy it as well as a few other games.

If it will go anything like T2, the community pressure should be enough to force VA to change / implement things to make it more comforting.

Still yet to here any news of it though.

TV has like 10% of the numbers off ppl that played t2 at launch (even t1 had heaps more ppl), expect it to be a ghost town come xmas (not that its far off that now)
