Anything designated as having Linux support will work - I believe this includes all cs games

Anything based on the source engine should be fine and if it isn't I would expect valve to add support fairly quickly. L4D2 was the first game they ported over I believe.

From what I've read it's a barebones release to start with, unless you are fairly skilled running linux it's not going to be the easiest thing in the world to start playing games on, think of it as a release candidate.

EDIT: don't download it in a browser, it keeps stopping early for me. Use a download manager or try and find a torrent

That desktop actually looks pretty nice and certainly looks like any other full featured distro. obviously gonna be buggy as **** though.

Valve In-Home Game Streaming Supports Windows, OS X & Linux

As mentioned in comments, only windows OS can be the host
