I've turned to mac now, and don't have space for a tower and seperate monitor, so I was thinking a second hand gaming laptop might do the job.
When Ive looked at specs and the game requirements I've realised I'm nowhere as nerdy as I used to be and I have no idea of what the numbers on GPU's mean anymore.
so, will midair run on a laptop and what should I be looking for to get some middle of the road performance and graphics?
if you can point out something on ebay that would help
Look for a 1050Ti or 1060 and it'll rock everything out there currently. The Alpha-N850HK can get specced down to a lower ssd etc to drop the price even more.
Second hand is just a bad idea, out of warranty = out of my house.
i just had to comment.I like what your saying but my wife wouldn't understandSecond hand is just a bad idea, out of warranty = out of my house.
dont know if ur wife have the knowledge but she is right!
dont buy a 2nd hand dying card!
go for 2nd hand "like new" card.
yes, no warranty but the chance that the Purchase of the card will fail you is very VERY Small.!
I feel you.
though I gotta say:
some of us used to buy the high end cards (new card every year with our earned money). NOW WITH KIDS.... buying something that lose its value after a year seems pointless and stupide , so a lot of us will buy 2ND HAND PREVIOUS YEAR CARDS.
so if you want best preformence per dollar you should buy 2nd hand card!
A LOT OF SELLERS WILL TRANSFFER THE WARRANTY TO YOU, so buy a 1-2 years card and also get the warranty .
amazon warranty is international, also MSI, also EVGA.
