verdant is wilderzone. i'm told it was the most popular t2 map over there. there's a smaller dangerous crossing one but it must be an LT map. only a server admin can switch to that mode atm.
it was played a lot in AU comps, not so much in pub map rotation though...

Obviously some of these maps are quite rough and early works in progress - but how much attention do you think has been paid to the actual terrain design? From the screenies much of it looks like randomly generated fractal maps. It's impossible to tell from screenies though, but do you think these guys have some good mapper skills? Do we need to dispatch DOX?

Stub my toe on the base on Hoki errry time, so annoying. Was playing on the LA server yesterday and the guy who made the map said it was done "late at night, oops". certainly a good feeback loop actually playing the game with the guys making it

Playing on NY servers from Syd (260-300 ping) felt better than T1 or T2 netcode, and miles better than TA.

Im currently playing from Japan and ping roughly 130 to Syd. It feels closer to 250 but im also of a POS pc so its hard to tell at the moment.

Feels like the good old HPB days.
