Anyone a bitcoin millionaire ?

So kicking myself I didn't push that "Buy" button 2.5 years ago on 1000 coins after a failed attempt at mining them. Starting to shape up to be a real stock market contender.
First hedge funds are out. First global bank is looking at ways to implement and diversify. Even Max Kaiser has a few words to say.

My dad is a sad little 70+ year old man that has heard of every single multi-level marketing, ponzi and pyramid in existence and forced me to come to the conclusion of:

If you don't create anything of value, it's not worth anything. O_O

So even if this smells something like forex and could be legit, I don't regret what i haven't tried.

I couldn't agree more with you. I guess what makes this appealing is there can only be so many bitcoins in circulation - after this you can't counterfeit them, you can just "print them" like the greenback etc. - Making it a deflating currency rather than inflating.

It's the same with any of these schemes, get in on the first year or 2 and you'll do well. The rest are just adding padding to early buyers wallets.

I would say it's too late now. But yeah it does seem to be mainly making it's money from buying drugs and laundering money, not exactly the best place to invest.

It does actually have a genuine worth and that's anonymity, while that lasts it's going to keep going.

No, they can be traded and sold which is the primary use. No different to money really. you can buy murder children and porn with that too

So it could just be that Bitcoins as a whole are becoming more popular, and the variation in the upward trend is just a part of that growth. But how about this -- on 16 March Google searches for "Bitcoin" in Spain absolutely rocketed, but in places like the UK and US there wasn't any effect. Again, it's just a correlation, but it's an extremely striking one.

Re: Anyone a bitcoin millionaire ?

High risk / high reward

How much of a gambler are you? Personally I'd do my nut in if any of my shares displayed that kind of % volatility - even if they were penny stocks, let alone blue chip priced shares like the price of BC is :boggle:
