Tournament Index - Fixtures - Map List - Results - Teams list - Information

Welcome to the website for the Pacific Rim Tribes:Vengeance Competition.

This page contains a bunch of info that you'll need to know for the tourny.
Fixtures:
The fixtures page contains information about who teams are playing and what maps. There will be 1 match a week, and fixtures will be up prior to a weeks commencement. For the tourny, weeks start on MONDAY and finish the next monday. So you have a 7 day time period to play your allocated match. To organise a match date captains from each team need to contact each other, via irc or bittah PM or email, try to organise a date to play matches on within a day or two of the new fixtures being put up. Note - Fixtures are put up by a admin, teams do not select who they will play, it's all preselected by admins. You will play every team in no particular order.

Map sides:
Information on who selects sides for what maps in on the fixtures page, but please note - map side selections must be submitted (to both a tourny admin and captain of other team) within 48hours of the match being played. However if you are going to play on a monday night, well just let the other team know asap.

Maps:
The maps page lists the maps being used in the tourny, as well as how the map selection works. Maps can be changed if captains from BOTH teams contact a ladder admin, at which point that particular map will be removed and another map will be randomly reselected. Maps are selected using the random number generator by a tourny admin, teams do not use it to select their own maps.

Reporting scores:
After a match is played, the losing team should report the scores to a admin asap. If a tourny admin does not recieve the scores by the time the week in which the game was played is over, then the scores will be reported as a capout/shutout against the losing team. So make sure you report them.

Servers:
Matches can be played on servers which are hosted in australia/nz, on proper connections. At current the list of bookable servers includes:
  • Internode 2
  • Internode 3
  • Eternally Lost
  • Gamespace full CTF
  • Riot
If there are additional servers available can the admin of said server please contact a tourny admin and the server can be added.

Rules:
A reasonable commom sense will apply here, in that if you know what you are doing/planning to do would not be allowed on TCS, don't do it here. That means no cheating, racial abuse ect. Keep in mind that since there is no solid rules written down, it will be up to tourny admins descretion what to do if there are disputes/issues.

Admins:
Admins are here to run the tourny, score reporting is done by admins, random map selection is done by admins, fixtures by admins. Pretty much just to keep the tourny going. If you have an issue you wanna speak to a admin about, PM said admin on bittah, or catch them in #tribesv on bittah irc. DON'T HASSLE US! We got other stuff to do, and will try and help you as soon as we can, so don't message a admin 20 times trying to get a response please <3
Current admins are:
Wackety - eXmerth@gmail.com
LowRider - beat_junkiez@hotmail.com

Rosters:
Teams have to give a admin the rosters before they can be in the tourny, and the current deadline for rosters is saturday 21st of may 11.59pm, as we plan to start the following monday. Once the tourny begins, teams are allowed 2 roster changes, that means during the tourny they can only take in 2 more people into the team. Players who are not on the roster on the website may not play, unless the other team says its ok with them (they must tell a admin its ok with them). When updating your roster during the tourny, the player being added to the roster may play as soon as they are added, however if teams decide to try and pull a shifty and get that player on the roster the night of the match, don't count on it. Admins will get the name on there as soon as they can, but if you don't give 24hour notice before a match don't expect it to be done.

Team sizes:
The standard will be 8v8 for games, although more or less can be played if both teams agree.

Summary:
Nice fun tourny, relaxed. I'd hope to see no rule fucking, and lots of fun games.
